Essay

The object of the research. The social-pedagogical support of children of junior school age with mental retardation. The subject of the research. Art-therapy as a mean of social-pedagogical support of children of junior school age with mental retardation. The purpose of the research was to ground and check up experimentally the pedagogical terms of application of art-therapy as a mean of social-pedagogical support of children of junior school age with mental retardation. Research methods. Theoretical methods (study, analysis and generalization of literature), empirical methods (study of school documents that generalization of practical experience of teachers of the special schools, conversations, pedagogical supervision and experiment (establishing and forming) and statistical methods. Theoretical and practical results. Certain criteria, indexes that levels of evaluation of efficiency of grant of social-pedagogical support of children of junior school age with mental retardation, were enabled to find out its features. With their account, a model, complex program and method of the correction-developing teaching, that directed on the increase of efficiency of grant of social-pedagogical support through the wideuse of different types of art-therapeutically activity were developed. Practical value of the results. Effective grants of social-pedagogical support of children of junior school age with mental retardation lead to the decrease of negative influence of the second rejections on their development and socialization.
