The dissertation is dedicated to a complex investigation of the international commitments of the states according to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). The whole system of international juridical regulations about fight against corruption (of both recommendatory and juridically binding character) is researched. The main elements of the control mechanism of the UN Convention against corruption are studied: the Conference of the States Parties and special mechanisms of collection and evaluation of information about the processes of implementation of the Convention; and the main juridical acts of the control mechanism of the Convention too. Significant attention is paid to the study of correlation of the juridical force of the UN Convention and of the European anticorruption conventions (signed within the framework of the Council of Europe) and of the peculiarities of the national implementation of the UN Convention against corruption too.
