The thesis is devoted to the justification of theoretical positions and methods of urban decision-making to improve the efficiency of the organization of suburban area of large cities, and also to mechanisms for the regulation of territorial relations of cities and suburban areas. In the thesis the efficiency of urban solutions is expressed by the specific social, environmental and economic factors that characterize the spatial organization of the system.
