Essay

Object: the ritual sphere of traditional life style of Ukrainians. Objective: to determine manifestations of traditional etiquette in family rituals autochthons of the western regions of Ukraine, also using folk material. Methods: field study, historical reconstruction, a comprehensive, comparative historical, structural and functional analysis. Results: in the Ukrainian Ethnological Science studied holiday etiquette and clarified the features of use of etiquette rules in the rites of the human life cycle, in scientific publications and thesis introduced new factual data, analysis and synthesis are allowed to introduce a new element in the understanding and appreciation of the value of behavioral rules at the time of important events family life. Sphere of application: for further in-depth study of national etiquette and writing generalized monograph to prepare a special course on the etiquette of Ukrainians, Slavs in general, for writing synthetic works, manuals on Ethnology of Ukraine for universities and other educational institutions.
