Trifonov V. Cryopreservation and evaluation of cord blood serum efficiency in correction of reproductive function in antiphospholipid syndrome

The research object - the effect of low temperatures in the components and properties of cord blood serum (CBS). The research aim is studing the effect of different regimens of low temperature preservation on preserving the components of CBS, examining their efficiency in correction of reproductive function in antiphospholipid syndrome (APhS). Research methods: cryobiological, cultural, biochemical, immunoenzyme, histological, clinical-and-instrumental, clinical-and-laboratory, methods of the statistical processing of the results. It has been established that the CBS cryopreservation enables the preserving of immune suppressive compounds and substances, stimulating reparation; cryopreserved CBS (CCBS) increased the reaction of lymphocyte blast transformation (RLBT), activity of phagocytes. There was designed an experimental model of APhS. The use in the experiment of pre-conception measures using CCBS and traditional treatment with APhS during the gestation leads to the recovery of endometrium, hemostasis normalization, reduced reproductive losses. Pre-conception preparing of the woman with APhS using CCBS in combination with the standard therapy reduces the risk of the complications of pregnancy, labors, neonatal period.
