Galyts'ka T. The image of the world of the Ukrainian ethnos in the context of the sociocultural values

In the dissertation the little investigated in the domestic science phenomenon of the image of the world of the Ukrainian ethnos in the context of the sociocultural values is considered. The theoretical approaches to research of the image of the world of the Ukrainian ethnos in the conditions of the transformation of the modern Ukrainian society are stated; the main parametres of the image of the world through the interpretation of the categories " image of the world", "outlook", "mentality", "paradigm", etc. are defined; it is revealed the vital measurement of the image of the world of Ukrainians as the vitamen-tal reality connected with accumulation of experience of conscious interaction with the na-ture both caused by character and the way of industrial activity; the ecological paradigm of the sociocultural values of Ukrainians is proved; the value of the language lexicon and means of art expressiveness in the formation of the picture of the world.
