The thesis is devoted to the research of evolutionary processes, aimed at diversifying the food industry in terms of European integration and globalization of world economies, as well as international food markets. This paper analyzes the characteristics of structural changes in the development of the EU food systems and the reasons that caused them. The ways of food systems convergence of Ukraine and the EU are identified, as well as future strategies of the food cluster, which will ensure the competitiveness of the food sector of Ukraine, by borrowing, and implementation of experiences of the European Union.
