Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the life and work of the outstanding ukrainian scientist in the branch of agricultural chemistry O.I. Dushechkin. The dissertation is the first complex forming of the scientist’s career periods; discloses the conditions and key factors in the formation of his scientific outlook; analyzed his scientifically research and organizational work: highlighted the contribution by O.I. Dushechkin to the establishment and the activities of the leading research institutions of agricultural areas; found out and outlined the main directions of his research; investigated pedagogical activities of the academician. Reconstructing of complete picture of the life and work of academician O.I. Dushechkina made possible to outline the weight of his scientific legacy for the future development of science, history science and culture of Ukraine.
