The thesis touches upon the problem of the future practical psychologists' creative potential development. Analysis of the scientific approaches to the creative process, the nature of creativity, its architectonics, modern theory and practice of the higher education point out that there is a necessity to reveal future practical psychologists' potential resources, to develop their individual and creative abilities, to stimulate person's cognitive and social activity, urge towards self-presentation. It demands appropriate professional creative training on the basis of the effective psychological and pedagogical conditions providing. Taking into account the specific features of the practical psychologists' professional activity, age-related differentiation (students' stage as a sensitive period for the creative development) the psychological model of the creative potential is worked out. Major criterions and levels (high, middle and low) of the mentioned phenomenon are determined. According to the latest achievements in terms of methodical, psychological and pedagogical creative study and the results of the practical psychologists' creative abilities measurement favourable psychological (self-confidence, curiosity, flexibility in the communicative activity, potentials' self-actualization, verbal and social creativity etc.) and pedagogical (the atmosphere of psychological safety and comfort, value of the creative process, individual creative style of the teacher's professional activity, methods of creative thinking activization application etc.) conditions for the creative potential development covered three interactive and interrelated spheres (conative, cognitive-emotional and social-psychological) are described. The effective training program of the creative potential development is presented and approved. Methodical recommendations for the teachers of the higher educational establishments are worked out.
