Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of formation of natural science teachers' readiness to work with gifted students in the system of regional methodological studies. The scientific analysis of various approaches to defining the phenomenon of giftedness is realized. The problem of teachers' readiness to work with gifted students and the technology of such readiness formation is analyzed. The concept of "teachers' readiness to work with gifted students" which is presented as a system of psychological and pedagogical subject-subject relations directed at the skills development of a gifted student and upgrading the professionalism of a teacher is specified. Readiness includes an integrative-synergetic interaction between the theoretical, practical and personal components. Methods of formation natural science teachers' readiness to work with gifted students in the system of regional methodological studies are created. The effectiveness of the proposed methods and the necessity of their conglomerate adoption in the system of regional methodological studies activity - the training program for teachers to work with gifted students are argued with quantitative and qualitative indexes during the formative experiment
