The author singles out the types of Master's degree translator training programs in the USA, studies the structure and the contents of technical translator training Master's degree programs in the American universities, gives scientific-methodological instructions concerning the development and planning of academic process of technical translators' training for Master's degree level at the national institutions of higher education, eventually improving a purposeful and lifelong training of highly qualified translators.
