Leschak O. Physical condition and somatic health correction of schoolchildren in the conditions of children's summer health establishment.

Peculiarities of physical development, physical preparedness, somatic health and psychological qualities of 8-10 year old children in the end of their school year have been investigated and the obtained results have been documented in this dissertation. On the basis of these data the experimental sport rehabilitation program has been developed and it consists of a complex of specific (physical and athletic exercises, active games) and non-specific (natural factors) means of physical education, and it also includes organizational and pedagogical conditions of its realization which are directed to the correction of physical condition and somatic health of junior schoolchildren during their stay in children's summer health establishment.The thesis states that the existing system of the education in the modern school facilitates the development of the children hypokinesia and results in their physical state and somatic health deterioration. Due to the insufficient motion activity, that is characteristic of 74,5 % of 8-10 year old children, only 5,7 % of them refer to the group of the practically healthy children and only 54,6 % have low level of the functional reserves of the cardio-respiratory system. After the implementation of the sport and healthy program the number of children with above average and high level of the physical preparedness.
