Kryshtopa O. International Legal Regulation of Notary Activities

This dissertation deals with analysis of international regulation and perception of notary acts and notary activities. It also deals with replication of international norms in the legislation of Ukraine and conformity of the latter to best international practices. The research investigates into most complex and problematic issues related to unclear definition of this institution in international legal norm, lack of unification of both the number of notary enforcements and specifics of the enforcement process. The author discusses and analysis problems with the use of foreign legal norms, lack of sustainable and mutually beneficial relations between notary chambers, notaries from different countries, consuls etc.
