The dissertation solves the task of improvement of results of treatment of patients with multiple trauma on the basis of investigation of the mechanisms of development and manifestation of systemic inflammatory response syndrome through investigation of non-specific markers of inflammation and through substantiation and implementation of pre-emptive cytokine therapy in the complex intensive care management of traumatic disease. It has been proved that cytokine therapy correlated with elevation of inducible IL-2 level in blood on days 7 and 14 after trauma (р<0,001). A probable correlation has been found in patients with multiple trauma between cytokine therapy and improvement of inflammation markers (decrease of leukocyte and neutrophil count), general variables (return to normal blood glucose level), regression of organ dysfunction markers (decrease of urea and fibrinogen levels, elevation of total protein level) at days 7 and 14 after trauma. Administration of recombinant IL-2 (RIL-2) correlated with positive changes in CD3+ і CD4+, elevation of IgG level in blood and lead to decrease of CIC level in blood. This proves that pre-emptive RIL-2 treatment promotes regression of SIRS and prevents MODS. Clinical implementation decreases the duration of traumatic disease, decreases the number of complication and mortality rate.
