Goraj O. Nurses' (medical assistants') training for the sanitary-hygienic education and preventive work with schoolchildren

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of nurses' training for the sanitary-hygienic education and preventive work with schoolchildren. The up-to-date state of nursery education in Ukraine, its preventive aspect, is analyzed as well as the structure of professional skills is scrutinized. The approaches concerned the problem of nurses' (medical assistants') training for the sanitary-hygienic education and preventive work with schoolchildren are revealed. The essence and structure of the sanitary-hygienic education and preventive work with schoolchildren, the criteria, characteristics and levels of their formation are defined. The model of nurses' (medical assistants') training for the sanitary-hygienic education and preventive work with schoolchildren is grounded and experimentally checked up; the optional course "The sanitary-hygienic education and preventive work with schoolchildren" is worked out and introduced into the process of studying with the new educational methods implementation; the levels and criteria of nurses' (medical assistants') training are identified; the dynamics of levels changes under the influence of the experimental model is detected.
