The dissertation deals with the ecologization of education as a social problem connected with the humanity survival as an answer to this problem through the modernization of the content and technologies of the educational systems and processes, teaching a personality to overcome consequences of the destructive Nature treatment. Basic directions of ecological education management have been analyzed; its optimal model for the present-day condition and requirements of its modernization in the educational systems of Ukraine and leading European countries has been grounded.
