Tcherkashina O. The Opera and Ballet Theater and State Conservatory in Vinnytsya as a phenomenon of the national culture of the first half of the 20th century

The thesis has made an attempt of the complex research of musical-theatrical culture of Vinnytsya in the context of the development of the national cultural policy in Ukraine in the second half of the 20th century. The preconditions of the forming of the professional basis of the musical education are defined and analyzed, as well as the forming of the musical life during the period of the formation of the Ukrainian nationality. The attention is paid to the activities of two important artistic centres - The Vinnytsya Folk (State) Conservatory - The Musical College and Theatre of Opera and Ballet, their role in the process of forming and development of the musical professionalism in the region is researched.
