Kirova L. Formation of Сross-Border Agro-Industrial Clusters in the System of World Agricultural Market

The object of the study are the processes of formation of cross-border agro-industrial clusters in the present conditions of world agricultural market. The aim of the thesis is to develop theoretical and methodological foundations of cross-border economic cooperation in the agricultural sector and the development of scientific and practical recommendations on the use of cluster approach to improve the effectiveness and viability of the agricultural frontier regions. Methods: the dialectical method of learning, a method of historical analysis, the method of logical analysis, a method of economic and statistical analysis, a method of economic-mathematical modeling, analysis and synthesis methods, the method of forecasting. Theoretical results: consist in deepening the theoretical and methodological foundations for the development of cross-border cooperation in the context of improving the competitiveness of the agri-food systems and to develop recommendations on the formation and functioning of cross-border support for agri-food cluster. Practical results: consists in the development of scientific and practical tools of regulation and organization of the development of cross-border agro-industrial clusters. Scientific novelty: the first time: the skeleton structare of the organizational-economic mechanism for the creation of cross-border agro-industrial cluster proposed organizational structure of cross-border agricultural cluster; improved: theoretical and methodological foundations of studies of the process of clustering in the agricultural sector, organizational and economic basis for cross-border cooperation in the context of agro-industrial complexes of border regions based on the cluster approach, has been further development: conceptual and categorial apparatus of the theory of cross-border cooperation, the conceptual foundations of organizational and economic support for the development of network forms of cross-border cooperation. Degree of implementation: results of the study are used in practice: the Donetsk Regional State Administration; Zaporizhzhya regional state administration, district administration Berdyansk Zaporozhye region, JSC "Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works", the Regional Branch of the National Institute for Strategic Studies in Donetsk, as well as embedded in the learning process of Berdyansk University Management and Business.
