Object - the process of professional adaptation of workers of state motor licensing and inspection department; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically analysed and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions on the level of state motor licensing and inspection department workers' adaptation to professional activity; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research has been the first to provide a theoretical analysis and experimental testing of pedagogical conditions facilitating state motor licensing and inspection department workers' adaptation to professional activity: ensuring subdivision leaders' adaptation assistance based on their relevant psychological and pedagogical training; ensuring adaptation sequence; the content of professional adaptation of state motor licensing and inspection department workers has been specified as a continuous process of active interaction of every worker's personality and a variety of aspects of professional environment leading to mutual adaptation of interests of officers and the realities of public service which facilitates professional and personality development of the officer and his professional environment in general; the criteria for defining the level of state motor licensing and inspection department workers' adaptation to professional activity have been analysed; results - the researched conditions of state motor licensing and inspection department workers' adaptation to professional activity have been experimentally tested and are recommended for consideration and implementation in the process of adaptation in state motor licensing and inspection units in different regions of Ukraine; field - pedagogy
