The specification of the basic definitions of the professional competences of tourist industry managers has been made alongside with the analysis of their state in Ukraine and abroad, in Poland and Bulgaria, particularly. Having taken into account the analysis of the existing points of view and professiografic characteristics the model of the professional training, building up and development of the personality of tourist sphere specialist.
