Pidgirna V. Formation of trade and economic relations of Ukraine and Romania in terms of WTO membership

The thesis is devoted to the research of parameters of formation of the trade and economic relations after Ukraine's accession to the WTO. In addition, the paper considers the theory of international trade in historical retrospect, investigates the forms of international economic relations. It is clarified the conditions and peculiarities of foreign trade relations in the global economic space, the theoretical and practical bases of functioning of the GATT / WTO as an institution of international trade liberalization. In the dissertation research it is specifically mentioned the stages in the evolution of trade relations between Ukraine and Romania, it is analyzed the major trends and dynamics of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, also it is explored the level of openness of economies of Ukraine and Romania for European transformation. In the paper is revealed the specific use of organizational economic forms of bilateral trade. We considered the ways of broadening the levels of openness of economies of Ukraine and Romania for trade and investment based on national priorities, it is justified the factors of optimization the Romanian-Ukrainian economic cooperation in terms of global integration. Also in the dissertation is substantiated the dynamic optima of bilateral economic cooperation, it is designed generally balanced model for the formation of the complementarity of trade flows between Ukraine and Romania in the context of the World Trade Organization.
