The thesis is an investigation of the process of shaping the ecological culture of future mechanical engineering specialists in the process of their professional training. The characteristic features of the problem concerned and the resources for the improvement of the process mentioned above which would meet the requirements of the Conception of the development of education in Ukraine are brought to light. The theoretical foundations of shaping the ecological culture of future mechanical engineering specialists through an individual approach are substantiated; the structural and functional model of the process is submitted. Component and criteria features of shaping the ecological culture are defined and structured.
