Essay

Object - teaching and speech activity (учебно-речевая деятельность) of students of philological specialities of higher educational establishments. Purpose - to ground scientifically and approve experimentally the methodology of lexicographic competence development of students of philological specialities on the educational and qualification levels 'bachelor' and 'master'. Methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical. Theoretical results and novelty - the notion 'lexicographic competence', criteria (terminology-cognitive, informatively-typological, operational-active) and pedagogical conditions of lexicographic competence development of students of philological specialities of higher educational establishments have been defined; the formation levels of lexicographic competence of students of philological specialities have been characterized; the staged experimental methodology of lexicographic competence development of students of philological specialities of higher educational establishments has been grounded scientifically; the ideographic scheme of electronic dictionary has been developed. Practical results - the experimental program for the course 'Contemporary Ukrainian. Lexicology. Phraseology. Lexicography' for students of educational and qualification level 'bachelor' and the program for the course 'Cultural Linguistics' for students of educational and qualification level 'master' on the terms of credit and modular system have been developed; the electronic corpus of multimedia dictionary 'Ukrainian culture concepts' has been created; the system of exercises and tasks on lexicographic competence development of students of philological specialities have been worked out. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch - pedagogical, higher educational establishments.
