The thesis is devoted to studying the mechanisms of formation and unification of environmental cooperation in the course of economic and social integration of the EU as well as developing practical recommendations for the implementation of European environmental management experience in Ukraine. The thesis systematizes theoretical research basis of the business process’s impact on the ecosystem balance; gives definition for «international environmental integration», specifies its forms and features. It studies the unification process of implementation mechanisms of EU’s environmental objectives; defines the EU's role as a subject of international environmental policy; provides calculation of potential financial resources saving in the EU by implementation of adaptation measures to climate change. It also analyzes the interaction mechanism between EU’s common environmental policy and national environmental policies of the Member States; covers key issues and background of building a systematic cooperation in the environmental field between Ukraine and the EU.
