Bezdieniezhna M. The international legal regime of shared natural resources.

The dissertation is devoted to the analyses of theoretical and practical problems regarding international legal regulation of utilization, conservation and protection of shared natural resources. The term “shared natural resources” and the criteria for classification of these resources are determined. The research on the historical aspects and recent developments in the field of international legal regime of the most important shared natural resources is made. Important international legal principles and approaches are determined and analyzed. The effective international legal regime of transboundary aquifers, surface waters, mineral resources and migratory species was chosen as a subject of research. The peculiarities of legal regulation of natural resources of Ukraine such as Danube, resources of the Black sea and the Carpathian mountains are considered.
