Bahriy H. Psychological Features of Professional Foreign Language Abilities Development of Future Specialists - Commodity Experts in Customs Business

Thesis deals with the problem of professional foreign language abilities development of future specialists - commodity experts in customs business. The nature of the concept «professional foreign language abilities of future specialists – commodity experts in customs business» has been determined, their structure and the psychological peculiarities of abilities development to listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating have been revealed in the research on the basis of analysis of scientific views on the problem of abilities. In the research it has been emphasized the relationship of foreign language abilities with the peculiarities of mental processes: memory, thinking, perception, attention, imagination etc. It has been found that foreign language thinking and linguistic sense is the basis for language abilities development. The criteria and indices of the level of professional foreign language abilities development of future commodity experts in customs business have been determined and the factors that influence their development have been substantiated. The programme for professional foreign language abilities development of future specialists - commodity experts in customs business has been worked out and experimentally checked.
