Essay

The thesis is devoted to theoretical and experimental substantiation of the structure of distance education in medicine and telemedicine consultation and based on the improvement of quality of distance education in biology and medicine, especially in postgraduate medical education through the development of complex methods, process methods and technical means. To provide distance learning for doctors applications of common ontological model is justified. The role of telemedicine consultations in creating e-learning system is determined. The proposed system has proved its effectiveness in the process of doctors training. The general structure of doctor's knowledge which is used in the professional activities is grounded in the work. The structure and sequence of basic actions, performed by a doctor in his diagnostic and therapeutic activities are determined. The concept of an information display of therapeutic and diagnostic processes is introduced and disclosed. A methodology of the ontological structure of diagnostic and therapeutic knowledge, based on the structure of professional knowledge is designed. The methodology for knowledge transferring in postgraduate medical education on the basis of ontological models of procedural knowledge, which allows maintaining a single medical educational space is grounded. The conceptual model of knowledge transmission, which enables to maintain continuous professional development of doctors and helps to reduce the distortion of knowledge at their passing, is designed. Theoretical and practical research results are brought to the level of implementation in higher education institutions in Ukraine and in postgraduate education.
