Essay

The object of research is the educational process in physics in basic and upper secondary school. The aim of the research is working out, theoretical justification and experimental verification of subject competence technique of basic and upper secondary school pupils during the teaching practice of physics. The methods such as analysis of the literature, surveys, questionnaires, methods of mathematical statistics and results processing have been used in the research. For the first time the method of practical training in physics, aimed at developing physical competence of pupils, based on problem-search, information, design and problem-solving technologies to teach physics has been developed, proved and tested. The results have been introduced in the educational process of seven schools in the Kherson region. The developed technique is framed in the form of a handbook for the teachers of physics. It includes the methods of practical training in physics at the secondary school. The results can be used by the teachers and students of higher educational institutions and by the teaching staff of in-service training courses.
