Vitomskyi I. Psychological characteristics of professional security guards of private security companies in Ukraine and ways of its improvement.

The dissertation is devoted to system functional analysis of the guards' professional activity, job analysis, determination of the ways and directions of the private guards' psychological training. The structure, peculiarities and results of the job analysis of private guards' professional activity were researched, the specific physiological requirements for the professional qualities of the guard's personality on the psychophysiological, physiological and socio-psychological level were determined. The guards' professiograme and psychogram were defined on the basis of the diagnostics of the private guards, its digital indicators were proved. The main methods to improve the efficiency of the guards' professional activity were determined, namely to provide the physiological support to the guards during its activity, to improve the personality of the professional, to develop his professional qualities, skills and competencies, to motivate the guard for professional carrying out his tasks by providing the professional and physiological training.
