Alieksieiev A. Psychological features of styles of professional activity of State Border Service of Ukraine officers

The dissertation is devoted research of psychological features and working out of ways of development of styles of professional activity of officers of the State Border Service of Ukraine. The theoretical analysis of approaches to definition of a phenomenon of style of activity, psychological a determinant of formation of individual style, and also features and styles of professional activity of the State Border Service of Ukraine officer is carried out. The author’s psychodiagnostic technique «Styles of professional work» that has allowed to define the most typical ways and receptions of performance of professional work by officers guards is developed and approved. The empirical way investigates psychological features of styles of professional activity of the State Border Service of Ukraine officers which essence consists in display of various individually-typological qualities and behavioral strategy of self-control, interpersonal relations, adaptation, creative potential, intellectual and strong-willed qualities during performance of official duties. Basic levels of style of professional activity of State Border Service of Ukraine officers on which basis socially-psychological training on development of effective styles of professional activity of State Border Service of officers is offered are proved.
