The level of resource approach development for stress regulation, the role of coping-behavior in the professional activity of a rescuer, modern scientific views on the problem of studying the influence of emotional and intellectual components of the individual to choose coping-strategies and psychological defense mechanisms are anylyzed in the research. The theoretical analysis and empirical substantiation of support construct components "intellectual resources", "emotional resources", "protective-coping behavior" and peculiarities of their interaction are carried out.
