The comprehensive comparative analysis of stock market regulation models in developed countries, transition economies and the peculiarities of modeling approaches to regulation of infrastructure in these countries have been made. The measures to reduce systemic risks, including restrictions on the activities of commercial banks in the stock market in countries with dispersed ownership and the prohibition of short sales of shares on stock exchanges worldwide marketplace has been proposed.
