Object of study: the coal-face processing by arrow-shaped cutting head. The purpose of research - improving technical level road-header. Methods: experimental determination of the laws in representative conditions, the methods of probability theory and mathematical statistics, stochastic processes, theoretical mechanics, analytic geometry and the theory of cutting the rock, parametric identification. Scientific results: establishing laws governing the formation of time for coal-face processing the cutting head in representative conditions; establishing laws of formation of the low-frequency component of the load in the power system and elements combine for a cycle of of coal-face processing; the development of mathematical models of the workflow mechatronic feed system arrow-shaped cutting head and external disturbance vector for cross-axial crown. Bottom line: The methodology of experimental data, setting the parameters of the efficiency of cutting drive; grounding the structure of mechatronic feed arrow-shaped cutting head with simultaneous supply of cutting crown in two directions and the algorithm of adaptive computer control. The novelty of the work: the first time that: for manual control of work road-header with a cross-axial crown distribution of long periods of work and inactivity of cutting drive motor have exponential (with about 30% of the duration of the period of operation is idle); the maximum amplitude of the low-frequency component loads in power systems and components of combine cycle is formed at the transition to the destruction of the crown stronger breed because of the inertial properties of the combine; the combination of the time two movements the cutting head with an adaptive optimizing the use of the cutting drive power reduces maximum loads in power systems 1.5-2 times, the relative number of load cycles is 2.5 - 3 times and bust rocks 1.5-2.5 times. The results of the used in the creation and modernization of feed system of cutting head of road header for high rates of penetration. Application area: mining engineering.
