Kolisnyk O. Psychological features of professional reaction to misinformation by employees of the intelligence body of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine

In the course of the psychological analysis of phenomenon of misinformation its phenomenological and socio-physiological aspects have been defined, psychological and psycho-physiological means of its diagnostics and identification in the professional communication of the intelligence service officer of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have been outlined, and individual's lie as the primary reason and principal tool of misinformation has been examined. During the empirical research of psychological characteristics of a person as an object of professional interest in the context of the problem related to human's lie both psychological characteristics of misinformation and psycho- physiological means of its verification in the professional interaction of the intelligence service officer have been elucidated as well as the psychological distinctions of person's lie have been defined in accordance with his or her gender. On the basis of the results of the empirical research it has been proved that lie of a person is connected with psychological characteristics of a person as an object of professional interest. Furthermore, it has been offered an array of means targeted to discharge verification of misinformation in the process of professional communication of an officer of the intelligence service of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine with a person.
