Object - professional training of prospective nurses in medical colleges; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions of training prospective nurses in medical colleges to solving problem situations in their professional activity on the level of specialist's professional readiness; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research has been the first to provide scientific analysis and experimental testing of pedagogical conditions of training prospective nurses in medical colleges to solving problem situations in their professional activity; the essence of the problem situation in professional activity of nurses as existence of difficulties with which a specialist cannot cope using the knowledge he has acquired and making him mobilize his professional knowledge, skills, values and personality qualities in order to carry out search for new methods of solving a problem and preventing negative consequences for the patient has been specified; methods and forms of training prospective nurses have been scrutinized; results - theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions of training prospective nurses in medical colleges to solving problem situations in their professional activity have been experimentally checked and may be recommended for implementation in the professional training of prospective medical staff in medical higher educational establishments of 1-2 levels of accreditation ; field - pedagogy
