Formation of the future translators' competitiveness in the process of the professional training is studied in the thesis. The essence, structure and the components of the future translators' competitiveness have been scientifically grounded; the criteria and the levels of the future translators' competitiveness have been defined and characterized. It has been proved that the formation of the future translators' competitiveness in the process of the professional training can be effective under the following pedagogical conditions: orientation of the content of future translators' professional training to the competitive professional activity, introduction of the project form of organization of the students' extracurricular independent work to the educational process, the use of self-presentation strategies and techniques in the context of the stated phenomena formation. The model of future translators' competitiveness formation has been worked out. It underlines the aim, pedagogical conditions, their means of realization and stages.
