Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of teaching Ukrainian reading and writing to the pupils of the 2nd school year with Romanian language teaching. The analysis of linguodidactic literature on marked issue has been made in-process, the psychological and psycholinguistic features of forming of abilities to read and write in Ukrainian language have been found out, the comparative analysis of the phonetic and graphic systems of the Romanian and Ukrainian languages has been held, that gave an opportunity to define 4 groups of letters after the degree of coincidence in the Romanian and Ukrainian languages and to define the features of mastering of letters of every group. The obtained results presented theoretical principles of methodology of teaching reading and writing in Ukrainian in schools of the marked type. In dissertation the initial positions, didactic and linguodidactic principles of experimental teaching are reasonable in theory, the order of study of Ukrainian letters is changed in structure, the stages of forming of reading and writing skill are determined, in accordance with every stage optimal methods and techniques of mastering of knowledge and forming (correction) of abilities to read and write in Ukrainian language are neat. On the basis of the certain principles of teaching, conditioned by an aim and specific of the acquisition Ukrainian language as state, stages of teaching and accordingly neat methods and techniques, the linguodidactic model of the stage-by-stage forming of abilities to read and write in Ukrainian is worked out generalized. Experimental verification of the worked out methodology confirmed its efficiency.
