Essay

The object of study is the educational process of physics at high school. Development, validation and implementation of methodological system of students' cognitive activity at higher educational institutions by means of physical experiment. The methods: theoretical, empirical, prognostic, experimental and statistical. It is the first time when theoretical and methodological foundations of students' cognitive activity by means of physical experiment in the study process of general physics course has been developed, investigated and experimentally verified the methodical system of students' cognitive activation, which is based on the integrated use of different kinds of educational experiment combining with information and communication technologies. The results of investigation are implemented into the educational process of the five universities in Ukraine. The elements of methodological facility: the methods of students' activation on lectures by means of experiment demonstration; method of students' cognitive activity during laboratory work on optics by means of experimental objectives; activization methods of students' self-instruction, which involves the use of calculation-graphic works on physics. The results may be used in studying physics process at universities to train future specialists of "Physics", experts of other fields of physics and professionals of non-physical fields.
