Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the investigation of formation conditions and function features of the personal fests in the polyethnical environment of Odessa region. Domestic and foreign historiographical achievements in the sphere of personal fests are collated; the new complex of sources is scientifically introduced. Evolutional algorithm of the social phenomenon (Name day - Birth day) is reconstructed on the materials of Slavonic groups, common and local causes of the main transformations are revealed. Tendencies of the innovational personification phenomena becoming the festive-rite practice of the Odessa region inhabitants are cleared. Structural codes and also ethnical, social, gender and age-related differences are sorted out. The modern model of ritual correction of the age-scale is defined by the example of personal celebrations, it's archaic reminiscences are also revealed.
