Essay

The thesis is devoted to the nature and content of the formation of critical thinking of ninth graders' in History learning. The relevance of the topic is substantiated, the components (analytical and synthetic, practical, alternative, evaluative), criteria and levels of formation of critical thinking of ninth graders' are identified in the thesis. Methodological conditions for the formation of critical thinking of ninth graders' in History learning are substantiated and experimentally validated. The process and the results of experiment proved, that implementation of the developed method influences positively on forming of critical thinking of ninth graders' in History learning. Keywords: critical thinking, formation of ninth graders' critical thinking, questions and tasks of high complexity, methods of problem-based learning, interactive teaching methods, three-stage structure of a lesson.
