Essay

The given thesis covers the studies of particularities of adaptation formation to load-related hypoxia and hypercapnia of sportsmen with different allelic gene variants involved in fin swimming at the stage of specialized basic training. It is shown that one of the main factors restricting athletes' efficiency is considered to be load-related hypoxia developing as a result of discrepancy between repeatedly increasing oxygen demand and the possibilities to satisfy it. It is defined that the sportsmen's stability to such type of hypoxia depends a lot on individual genetic determination. The display of sports efficiency and the compensational character of load depend on correlation of allelic ACE and eNOS gene polymorphisms combinations. That is, D - allele of ACE gene is associated with a high efficiency in fin swimming, but I - allele contributes high efficiency in rowing
