Essay

The thesis deals with research on influence of individual's work on formation and development of culture in general. The work underlies study of phenomenon of a great Ukrainian philosopher and writer G. Skovoroda who identified not only the development of the Ukrainian culture of his time but also for many centuries in the future as well as comparison of this phenomenon with the work of a modern Ukrainian artist T. Yablonska who was an example of productive and personality freedom within tough bounds of time. In the course of research it was revealed that while analizing individual's work it is necessary to use a system culturological analysis which integrates psychological theories of work, philosophical conceptions and partial scientific theories. As criteria of culturological analysis of individual's work in cultural and historical scale we have taken the following: creative behaviour of individual; social and cultural prerequisites of work (work as "answers" to "challenges" of the society); sources of work; development of ideas in the art, presence of followers- continuers of ideas, school; cultural and historical memory, presence of scientific research of the work of the very individual. System culturological analysis of individual's work by way of examples of G. Skovoroda and T. Yablonska has showed that the point of culture dynamics is innovative work of creative individuals: undoubtedly their work is a basis of formation and development of the culture of Ukraine and this influence will continue developing at time and space becoming a beginning of new schools in culture.
