Liskovets S. Jakob Philip Kulik (1793-1863) as a scientist, teacher and science organizer

The object of research is development of Mathematics (the number theory, algebra, arithmetic) in nineteenth century, which are connected with the work Ya.F.Kulika, scientific and pedagogical activity of James Philip Kulik The subject of research are main directions of scientific and socio-educational activities of Ya.F.Kulik. The scientific contribution of the scientist is considered in the context of mathematics development of nineteenth century. The comprehensive study of Ya.F.Kulik scientific activity is for the first time carried out in the thesis in the context of mathematical disciplines of nineteenth century on the basis of the general principles of scientific objectivity and historical authenticity. Common scientific and historical research methods (structural-analytical, historical, biographical, structural and systemic approaches, complexity, chronological, periodization) were used during the research. The important thing is the position of the dialectical unification scientific activity with the general processes in mathematics, as well as coverage of papers in scientific works of Ya.F.Kulik in comparative and system analysis.
