Essay

The dissertation is devoted to problems of gender characteristics of the formation of a self-concept among primary school children. It was experimentally revealed asynchrony of the formation of components of a self-concept among boys and girls of a primary school. Psychological and pedagogical conditions of an actualization of psychological factors and mechanisms of development of a self-concept are determined; the program of the formation of a self-concept among younger schoolboys and schoolgirls based on differentiated approach with considering gender features of its formation is aprobated and implemented in the educational process.
