Korol T. System of Testing Future Financiers’ English for Specific Purposes Competence

The research deals with the problem of testing future financiers’ English reading for specific purposes competence. The main requirements to be satified by the system of testing English reading for specific purposes competence have been outlined. The elements and the interrelations of the subsystems of testing stages, its types and objects, testing techniques and means of testing have been specified. Methodical typology of lexical units making up future financiers’ real vocabulary has been suggested. The steps of modeling real life situations constructing communicative test tasks in reading for specific purposes have been described. Test task bank has been worked out according to the determined testing objects and types. The structure and the contents of the parts in reading of thematic, module and summative tests have been suggested. The given system of testing has been verified during experimental teaching and testing. Methodical recommendations as for its introduction have been developed.
