Fedorenko О. Training of tourism professionals in the universities of Hungary

The thesis deals with the problems of training professionals for tourism. The thesis reveals the essence and the concept of tourism education in Hungary, some of its structural components, identified and theoretically grounded set of pedagogical conditions for establishing tourism education in modern society. Contents and forms of professionals practical training for tourism in higher educational institutions in Hungary have been investigated. The stages of formation and development of the tourism industry and vocational education in tourism have been characterized; the functioning of the system of specialists training in the sphere of tourism in the university education of the Hungarian Republic have been analyzed. Quasi-optimal combination of theory and practice in the experience of university education in Hungary on the training of professionals in the tourism industry have been generalized, the features of the content of the training of bachelors and masters in 11 Hungarian universities have been revealed; the specific methods of classroom and extracurricular forms of specialists training for the tourism industry have been identified; the possibility of the practical experience usage for tourism education in Hungary in the context of the transformation of national higher education have been considered.
