Specific nature of the married couple loneliness display, impact and consequences is researched and presented in the paper. It is stated that the feeling of loneliness is a complicated psychological phenomenon, which affects the very essence of the human being. The latter is determined externally, based on the personal loneliness and is presented in the impossibility of the creation in the personal consciousness of qualitatively new relationships, feelings and conduct. Psychological nature of loneliness is revealed as a sphere of emotional feeling; a complicated state which seizes the person entirely - feelings, thoughts, actions. Within a framework of psychological approaches loneliness is viewed as a phenomenon embracing the complex of knowledge, perceptions of the notion "loneliness" formed in the process of the personal life of the human being; deictic feelings of loneliness developed within a context of personality development; the process of feeling intellectualization of various tension level; consequences of feeling intellectualization or its extra intellectualized form development. Feeling of loneliness is under way throughout the whole person's life and is a characteristic feature of the personality having its own contents, structure and development regularities. Couple's feeling of loneliness can have a destructive as well as a constructive nature. On the one hand, an aware rejection of the own loneliness is on display. Thus, all the events of the family life are perceived mostly negatively. Moreover, aggressiveness, tendency towards isolation, addictive conduct (excessive drinking, drug addiction) and social dependence are revealed. Rejection of the state complicates the choice of the constructive behavior strategy, causes stress and emotional tension. On the other hand, whenever feeling of loneliness has a constructive nature (in case of using adaptive coping-strategies) a positive life attitude, increasing of social and work activity, reflectivity, creativity and life sense search are observed. A married couple shows support to each other, is active in its common family life; accept themselves their state, reveal warm-heartedness.
