Pidchosa O. The Features of Current Stage of Transnatiaonalizaton of World Oil and Gas Industry.

The dissertation surveys the features of current stage of transnationalization of world oil and gas industry. The thesis discusses theoretical and methodological fundamentals of analysis of oil and gas industry transnationalization, the development of the global oil and gas business at the current stage and the influence of the process on Ukraine's energy sector. The study examines the evolution of the market structure of the global oil and gas industry under the influence of transnationalization and reveals that rapid transnationalization of operational activities in this field has led to the reconfiguration of the strategies and mechanism of interaction between energy companies. The determinants of TNCs investment process in the world oil and gas industry have been identified on the basis of econometric modeling. The author determines the factors of acceleration of Ukrainian oil and gas industry development, classifies oil and gas TNC’s operating in the country and designs the development strategy of this branch to ensure the energy security of Ukraine.
