The object of research - road marking process of road marking machine; object of research - road marking machines working body positioning accuracy in programmed trajectory certain space-time coordinates of; purpose - improving road marking works performance by developing road marking machines working body positioning at certain spatial-time coordinates of programmed trajectory methods; methods - systems analysis, navigation, matrix algebra, screw theory, optimal filtering, mathematical statistics, modeling; novelty - for the first time to determine the road marking machine motion parameters uses screw theory elements to incorporate the necessary direction and used mobile working body, thus improving the accuracy of its position; results - the technique of road marking machines working body positioning capable to applying road markings to within 6-13 cm; application of the results to create an experimental system at subsidiary "Kopylyanska road maintenance section" SE "Poltava Oblavtodor" PC" SJSC "Roads of Ukraine" allowed to increase performance of road marking; sphere - navigation.
