Koziarska A. The international legal framework for regional collective security: prospects and participation of Ukraine.

The thesis analyzes the issues of international security that must be considered in a broader context, focusing on economic and environmental security, which have recently become very topical, especially in the global financial crisis and in natural disasters and to develop mechanisms of closer international cooperation in these areas. The law of international security should take a leading role in addressing these issues, the main role in solving these issues should be taken by the regional organizations of collective security. The thesis proves that Ukraine's real guarantee of security is the membership in the UN, and to continue practical cooperation with such organizations as NATO and the CSTO with the preservation of non-aligned status.
